Major  Mixing Plant Upgrade – 12 month project

Metalco worked with Kockums Bulk Systems after they won the tender to upgrade the mixing facility for a Major International Food Company in Sydney’s west.   The scope of Metalco’s part of the project was to complete, install the steelwork and mechanical installation for the mixing equipment, as well as relocating the existing equipment.

Metalco received the drawings for the steel work, manufactured in the workshop then travelled to Sydney for installation.  Whilst engaged by Kockums, once on site Metalco liaised with Kockums Site Manager, providing consistent clear communication and completing all the required site safety requirements.

Lyndon Duff from Kockums Bulk Systems says ‘The team from Metalco were always very professional,  nothing was ever too much for them and the project was well managed with good communication between all parties.  While this was our first job with Metalco, it certainly won’t be our last’.
